Font Shoots Holes in Bottomline
From the land where cheese has holes, how about a font that has holes? SPRANQ Creative Communications (http://www.spranq.nl/en/), based in Utrecht, The Netherlands, has come up with a font typeface riddled with holes! The intent is to save on ink – as much as 20%. For any business that spends hundreds or even thousands of dollars getting gouged on over-priced ink cartridges, 20% is nothing to ruffle your descenders about.
This font installs on Mac or PC and can be downloaded here: http://www.ecofont.eu/downloads_en.html. It's not the prettiest thing around, but for printing drafts and other non-quality sensitive documents better the 20% in your pocket rather than Epson's or HP's.
